Our History

Founded in 1924 Holy Trinity Cricket Club (“HTCC”) holds a long and proud history in the community and having serviced the local families in many facets throughout its 98-year history. Located in the heart of the northern suburbs in Thornbury, Hayes Park continues to be a haven for fostering community spirit.

‘The Trinners’ pride themselves on the culture they have created over the years and their family friendly environment.

On the field HTCC have a long and successful history with their 1st XI playing in the Northern Metropolitan Cricket Association’s highest division (A Grade). More recently their Women’s team has continued this success having secured the clubs first ever Women’s premiership, winning the Lorraine Ireland Shield in 2017.

HTCC aims to be the most respected cricket club in the Northern Melbourne region both on and off the field. The club provides an opportunity for people to be part of the community and play a game of cricket, regardless of age, race, gender, ability or disability.

Their on-field focus is on player development and improvement to allow every player to be the best they can be; a message that is adhered to by all coaches at all levels.

HTCC has playing opportunities for boys and girls of all ages and currently fields 8 junior teams in the NMCA.
