HEAD OF WOMEN’S COACHING

Job Summary:

North Balwyn Cricket Club is seeking a Head of Women’s Coaching (playing or non-playing) for the 2026-27 season and beyond. The club is seeking to continue its recent success after back-to-back women’s premierships in the NMCA Division 1 shield and is looking for the right coach to develop our players, build depth, and improve success at all levels.

North Balwyn Cricket Club is an inclusive family club with two women’s teams (competitive and social), including players from the Victorian State Deaf Women’s team. We have a diverse, motivated, and fun playing group.

Key Selection Criteria and Requirements:

• Attend and run well-organized training at least one evening per week, including managing assistant coaches.
• Attend and coach the First XI games on Sunday mornings. Playing (if eligible) would also be welcomed.
• Embody club values with particular emphasis on inclusion, respect and diversity.
• Ability to improve technical proficiency of cricketers at all levels.
• Ability to contribute to a game plan and tactical approach.
• Ability to be a positive influence on club culture on and off the field.
