Congratulations to two of our boys on fantastic individual performances in the recent VMCU Junior Rep carnival. But there were many other outstanding performances.

Ned Reid from Rosebank won the player of the series in the U12 Josh Browne Plate. This award was based on votes given by umpires in the qualifying rounds.

Ned scored 134 runs at an average of 33.5 and took 4 wickets at an average of 9.25

Ben Lyons also had an outstanding carnival for the U12s taking 10 wickets.

The U14s may have lost their final but the outstanding player on the day was Jack Bell from Rivergum, who was awarded the player of the match by the umpires after taking 4/32. Jack finished with 20 wickets at an average of 8.85 for the carnival, including a 5/16 in Round 3.

Harry Smith was also a stand out with the ball taking 13 wickets at 9.15. Zayd Farouque chipped in with 11 wickets at 9.27 and Jules Tragardh took 10 wickets at 10.17. NMCA had four of the top 8 wicket takers in the tournament.

Our batting was just as good with Oliver Price the leading run scorer with a total of 210 runs at an a average of 35 followed by Tom Sweetman with 194 runs at 32.33. Our other top 10 run scorer was Will Hanlon with 138 runs at 19.7

In the U16s our stand out player was Lachie Bamford with an impressive all round performance of 186 runs at 37.2 and 13 wickets at 11.77.
