The U14s went down to Ringwood today by 4 runs. Chasing 130, we were bowled out in the last over for 126.
After being in a strong position at 1/88 around the 20 over mark, we lost 4 wickets for 1 run in the middle of our innings before our tail enders gave us a chance late in the innings. 6 run outs and a stumping did not help our cause after our two top order batters Isaac and Ollie set up the innings.
Isaac Prestney made 37 off 65 balls and Oliver Price 29 off 100 balls. Aidan Hobbs gave us a chance late with 16 off 10 balls.
Another terrific performance with the ball and in the field restricted Ringwood to 130 after having them 8/92.
