Our History

For almost 65 years the Keon Park Cricket Club grounds and club rooms have been situated at the corner of Harmer and Wagga Streets in the northern suburb of Reservoir. Founded in 1952 by local residents, Keon Park Cricket Club has a proud and passionate history at the heart of its communities.

In the early years the club was represented by two senior sides playing in the, then, Jika Cricket Association.  As with all clubs at this time, the Keon Park teams were men only.

Building a Proud Local Club

As time progressed the club grew adding more teams to its senior sides and introducing junior teams – which would become the foundation for the future success and longevity of the club.

Today

With a proud a trophy cabinet holding multi-premiership cups Keon Park Cricket Club is one of the oldest and most respected in Northern Metro Cricket Association. Whilst girls have always played in our junior teams, 2015 heralded our first female team in the senior league.  Women play a strong and valuable role in the club holding committee positions, receiving life memberships and mentoring and providing an environment where younger girls can thrive and enjoy our fantastic game.

The Future

Our vision is that our club will continue grow and to provide an inclusive sporting, social and community environment for men, women, boys and girls to enjoy.
