Located in Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs, South Morang Cricket Club is part of the Diamond Valley Cricket Association and fields teams in Senior and Junior competitions. Established in 1937 and known as ‘The Lions’, the Club has always been very family orientated and provides a tight-knit community atmosphere.
After a long stint on Plenty Road opposite the Commercial Hotel, the club moved to it’s current home at Mill Park Lakes Recreation Reserve in 2007, where it currently has over 150 players across 5 Senior, 1 Veterans and 7 Junior teams, as well as almost 100 Cricket Blast kids coming through the entry level program. The recently upgraded facility includes two grounds including an artificial turf ground, brand new change rooms, a large social room, canteen and bar, and undercover viewing areas for spectators and players.
As a club we are always looking to improve our performance on the field, as well as provide opportunities for our members to create great off-field relationships through social functions and events. We strive to create an atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home.
